🔒 Gratefuly is built with privacy at its core. Your journal entries, photos, voice recordings, and videos are stored entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how WIPLabs ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use the Gratefuly mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Gratefuly does not require an account and stores all your data locally on your device.

2. Information We Collect

Gratefuly does not collect any personally identifiable information. All data you create is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. This includes:

  • Journal entries (text, mood, date)
  • Photos attached to entries
  • Voice recordings attached to entries
  • Videos attached to entries
  • Streak counts and app settings

We do not have access to any of this data at any time.

3. Data Storage

All your journal data is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. No data is uploaded to external servers. We do not require you to create an account or log in.

4. Analytics & Crash Reporting

Gratefuly does not use any third-party analytics or crash reporting tools. We do not track your usage patterns, session durations, or any behavioral data.

5. Advertising

The free version of Gratefuly displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device's Privacy settings under "Apple Advertising."

Premium subscribers see no advertisements.

6. In-App Purchases

Gratefuly offers optional premium subscriptions (Monthly, Yearly, Lifetime) processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple.

7. Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, Gratefuly uses Apple's local notification system. These notifications are generated entirely on-device — no notification data is sent to our servers.

8. App Lock & Biometrics

If you enable the App Lock feature, your PIN is stored securely in Apple's Keychain on your device. Face ID and Touch ID authentication is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework. We never have access to your biometric data.

9. Photos, Camera & Microphone

Gratefuly requests access to your photo library only when you choose to add a photo or video to a journal entry. We only access the specific media you select — we do not scan or access your entire photo library.

Microphone access is requested only when you choose to record a voice note.

10. Children's Privacy

Gratefuly is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

11. Your Rights

Since all data is stored on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all app data at any time by deleting Gratefuly from your device.

  • Access — all data is on your device, always accessible to you
  • Correction — edit any entry directly in the app
  • Deletion — delete individual entries or uninstall the app to remove all data

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
